Music helps people to manage their feelings by allowing them to express their emotions through playing or listening to music. This is very healthy for us and can relieve a lot of tension in the body. Sometimes expressing ourselves verbally is not always easy or even possible. In this case music can help release emotions that sometimes lie buried deep within.
And other times it merely brings about pure joyous feelings as we listen to or play our favourite tunes. It is such an honour to not alone experience these things as a musician but also to be able to share in this joy with students as a music teacher.
