If your child decides to play a musical instrument such as the ukulele, it provides a lot of benefits! It is a beginner-friendly instrument. It has only four strings, so it is not as complicated to play as the guitar or other stringed instruments.
Like learning all instruments, it boosts a child’s IQ and also increases focus and discipline. With the increasing use of smartphones, tablets etc in our world today children are naturally distracted from other important activities such as reading, writing, art, daydreaming.
It takes time and attention to be able to play an instrument and if your child can dedicate their time to learning an instrument, it will also help them to focus on other things that matter. What’s not to be gained from music?!
Ukulele is great fun – not as much of an emphasis on reading music required here apart from learning chord charts but children love this little instrument as after only a few lessons they can begin playing pop songs with backing tracks and this naturally goes down a treat!
Ukulele lessons are for students aged eight years and upwards. If you have any query, or wish to discuss lessons for you or your child, please get in touch, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
